Please note the following important deadlines and guidelines for submitting tax information statements related to the 2019 tax year:
- By March 31, 2020:
Taxpayers must submit their tax returns (tax information statements) for the calendar year 2019. These submissions are required for cross-checking and verification purposes. - For issuers and recipients of tax documents (e.g., clearances) that are scheduled to be issued after January 2020 and relate to the 2019 tax year, the relevant tax returns must also be submitted by March 31, 2020.
- By May 15, 2020:
Corrections or amendments to discrepancies in tax information concerning supplier data must be submitted.
However, corrections are not required if the total value of discrepancies per counterparty, excluding VAT, does not exceed one hundred (100) euros.
